Emergency Actions 

  • Call 911

    • identify your location: building name, floor, office/room

    • describe the situation

    • what has happened

    • type(s) of injuries

    • help needed

  • Call Campus Police (7777)

  • Obtain or provide on-site first aid.

  • Alert other employees/students that an emergency is occurring.

Automated External Defibrillators

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program has been established by the University. For training in the use of these devices, contact the TCU Safety Department at extension 7220.

AEDs can be found in the following locations:

  • Daniel-Meyer Coliseum (2 - concourse by the Ticket office and in the tunnel by the Women's basketball office)

  • Walsh Complex (2 -entrance by the trainers office and in the weight training room)

  • Track storage building

  • B. Freidman Tennis Center - Club House

  • B. Freidman Tennis Center - Indoor Courts

  • Soccer Field Press Box

  • The Recreational Center (in the hallway by the swimming pool)

  • TCU Campus Police vehicles
